Finding her Sense of Homey Style

Penelope, after years of pinning pics on Pinterest of what she had envisioned as her dream home has just now found her true sense of style and the tones, styles and textures that she loves for her own home.

Realizing that a million dollar home for her family was not in the picture she readjusted her standards and if anyone knows Pinterest it is extremely hard to not get carried away with the lavish pics you see and envy those styles.

Penelope and her family live in a small home, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath. The home is dated and needs lots of TLC (tender loving care) which slowly but surely is looking better.

Penelope spent sometime putting together a mood board with all the textures, tones, colours that she loves and are her ideas. She is loving the natural textures, wood, timber and oak, the warm colour tones of beige, cream, greys and little hues of emerald green and navy blue for colour through decorations. Pillows, vases, flowers, glassware etc.

Take a look at her mood board that she is using as inspiration to upgrade her home in little areas that won't break the bank. Penelope desrcibes this style as down to earth, warm, soft edges, farmhouse in a way. She really has no idea what style this is but is in love with it.

Penelope has made one upgrade to her home which was installing two oak floating shelfs in her kitchen for extra storage but mainly to help her achieve this warm, cosy and welcoming environment for her home.
